Tracing and Sightline Analysis allows you to plan and optimise the dimensioning of roads and intersections during design. A separate vehicle editor contains standard vehicles defined in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s handbook: N100 Road and street design.
Dynamic calculation of tracking curves and performance of visibility control, based on selected road class.
The module streamlines your work with the design of roads and intersections, allowing you to work more dynamically.
Presentation of tracking curves and sightlines in plan and 3D.
Tracing and Sightline Analysis allows you to plan and optimise the dimensioning of roads and intersections during design. A separate vehicle editor contains standard vehicles defined in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s handbook: N100 Road and street design.
In addition, you can define special vehicles with separate parameters, for example vehicles for transporting transformers, wind turbines and the like, i.e. 'wide load' and 'long load'. Tracking curves for tires, body and cargo are presented graphically in both 2D and 3D view.
Visibility control during the design of roads ensures the necessary visibility along the designed road. This visibility control considers both the road model and the terrain model, including tunnels, and it automatically relates to the selected dimensioning road class. Calculated lines of sight are also presented graphically both in 2D and 3D.
