Continental Long Term Outlook
Strong European emission declines the coming decades are in the cards, as an ambitious EU-27 55% GHG emission reduction target by 2030 has been agreed. This paves the way for additional efforts in renewables and promotion of rather immature technologies in the years to come, through amended strategies and targets both at an EU level and at member state level. The more ambitious than ever pledges occur at a point of time where the macroeconomic sentiment is on a strongly increasing trend.
In the June edition of our Central Europe long term report, we discuss the outlooks and unveil our findings on long term power prices.
