Volue, a leading provider of technology solutions that empower the energy transition, has entered into an agreement with PPC, the largest clean energy company in Southeast Europe, for the deployment of its Smart Power software platform.

PPC operates across the full energy value chain—from electricity generation, supply and distribution to advanced energy services. With a total installed capacity exceeding 12.5 GW, including 6.3 GW from renewable sources, and an additional 3.7GW under development, PPC is driving the region’s shift toward a low-carbon future.

The Volue Smart Power SaaS platform will further enhance PPC’s hydropower production planning and optimisation, enabling sustainable water resource management and maximising clean energy output. By leveraging advanced optimisation models and automation capabilities, Smart Power supports complex multi-asset portfolios and ensures efficient, data-driven decision-making.

PPC’s hydropower assets - with a total capacity of 3.2 GW, including two stations with pumping capabilities - are essential for grid stability and renewable integration in Greece. With Smart Power, PPC will be able to optimise short and mid-term hydro scheduling, ensuring responsible water usage, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced operational efficiency.

This collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to accelerating the energy transition through digital innovation, while reinforcing PPC’s role as a regional leader in sustainable energy production.
